About Eta Rho
The Eta Rho chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta was founded at James Madison University in 2007. We have just over 200 sisters in our chapter! We pride ourselves on our individuality as well as our compassion for each other. For nearly 150 years Kappa Alpha Theta has been leading the way for women in higher education and continues to be a leading women's organization, which is why our slogan is Leading Women. Our founders recognized the potential of college women and the drive and ambition young women have. Eta Rho continues Kappa Alpha Theta's motto everyday through our work in class, Greek Life, and our community. Throughout the school year Kappa Alpha Theta takes an active role on campus as well as the Harrisonburg community. We host three main philanthropy events each year, participate in Greek Sing -a week long competition for all greek organizations, host social events and sisterhood events for our sisters. Additionally, Kappa Alpha Theta has consecutively received the highest GPA among NPC sororities at JMU. Make sure to check out our Spring '16 Newsletter!
