Kappa Alpha Theta's national philanthropy is Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). CASA provides children in the foster homes or children taken out of their homes an advocate. This advocate is a voice for the child through the court system and the situation they have been presented with.
Each year Kappa Alpha Theta hosts three annual philanthropy events. In the fall, we host Fall Fest, an event focused around fun and tasty fall activities and treats! In the spring, we host our annual Dodgeball tournament! The tournament is open to the entire university and is an team elimination tournament. Dodgeball is one of our most popular events across campus, this past year we raised over $11,000 for CASA! |

In August 2015, the Eta Rho chapter lost our sister, Katherine Norton, to cancer. Katherine joined Theta as a freshman in the fall of 2013. Katherine's beautiful smile and compassionate personality is dearly missed by the sisters of Theta along with her friends and family. Each year since Katherine's passing we host a fundraiser for Katherine like Cook-Out for Cancer, Cocoa Against Cancer and other fundraisers specifically dedicated to raising money for the Katherine Norton Foundation.
