What is CASA?
Since 1989, Kappa Alpha Theta has supported Court Appointed Special Advocates, or CASA, as our national philanthropy. CASA volunteers work with children who have been removed from their homes because of abuse or neglect. These volunteers provide voices for children in the court system and the community. All Theta chapters support CASA by raising money, spreading awareness, and volunteering their time. As a fraternity, we say "I am a Theta. I am for the child." Learn more about Kappa Alpha Theta's involvement with CASA on the fraternity website.
This past year, Kappa Alpha Theta took over social media with baby pictures! Each sister's profile picture was a childhood picture which was accompanied by a personalized caption about her own childhood and how not every child receives the same support from his or her family that she received.
